Stay current on international tax regulations affecting digital platforms and services. General Accounting & Reporting Assist with monthly and year-end close processes, journal entries, and financial statement preparation. Support internal and external audits; liaise with tax advisors as needed. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with engineering and product teams to enhance financial and tax automation tools. Work with customer support on billing or tax-related user inquiries. *Preferred candidate profile* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent is preferred. 35 years of accounting experience, ideally in e-commerce, SaaS, or digital service environments. Strong knowledge of global VAT/GST systems and tax rules for digital goods/services. Familiarity with credit card processing, payment gateways, and fraud mitigation. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics software. Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, SQL) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive financial data.
